We are just a little over a week away from WWE Network‘s big move to Peacock on March 18th.
WWE has started to release information leading up to the switch which you can check out here, but now TheVerge.com has also been able to get an early sneak peek of the service. They were able to note the following:
“Peacock will no longer have “Match Markers” which allowed you to skip through shows per match or segment. Peacock tells the Verge they are working on a “visual scrub” that will allow users to see where they are fast forwarding or rewinding to in a small preview box.
WWE on Peacock will also lose the robust search engine which allowed fans to find matches in the WWE Network library by superstar name or match type. Peacock tells the Verge that they plan on upgrading the search engine as time goes on. But they don’t expect it will ever match the Network’s capabilities.”
Obviously some things are going to need to be worked on as time goes on and fans will have to get use to the new setup. However with the $5.99 pricetag for the service with ads and $10.99 without it’s a great deal either way.
