Davey Boy Smith Jr. the son of WWE Legend The British Bulldog and a former WWE Tag Team Champion is now back in the company after over a decade of being away.
Smith returned last night on SmackDown in a dark match teaming with Austin Theory. After the match he made it clear in an interview that he was back and that he was ready to compete at the highest level after traveling the world.
We previously reported at The Ringside Roster back in April that Smith was in talks with WWE and was possibly set to return to the company soon.
According to PWInsider Davey Boy Smith Jr. officially signed the deal back in March, but things were kept as quiet as possible.
Smith is just 35 years old and has a lot of gas left in the tank. Now that he’s back we’ll have to see if he can capture some gold and become the star many thought he would be during his first run.
