Last night word broke from ESPN that Brock Lesnar had spoken to Dana White and informed him of his plans to retire from MMA. This was interesting considering the fact that there were reportedly plans in the works for a huge fight between Lesnar and Daniel Cormier.
It appears though there’s an even bigger story out there as we are now told at The Ringside Roster that Brock Lesnar also had a conversation with Vince McMahon letting him know that he wants to retire at WrestleMania 36.
Obviously this would be huge and there would be a list of opponents for Brock Lesnar’s final match. That list also includes Matt Riddle who seemingly claimed that spot indicating he wanted to retire Lesnar.
We’ll have to see who WWE pairs with him for the show of shows. Lesnar leaving may be shocking but at 40+ as great a shape as “The Beast” stays in his time in WWE and UFC has likely taken its toll over the years. He’s certainly made enough money as well.
