Sasha Banks is one of the most decorated women’s wrestlers the business has ever seen. “The Boss” has seemingly just about done it all in the WWE, and it appears she was set for more big things before recently getting injured.
As previously reported Sasha Banks injured her leg facing Charlotte Flair at a recent live event as is expected to be out from 6-8 weeks. This puts her in line for a return just before WrestleMania.
As it turns out the company had some big plans set for “The Boss” before her injury. We’ve learned at The Ringside Roster that Charlotte Flair vs. Sasha Banks was originally set for WrestleMania this year.
Perhaps Sasha Banks was set to win the Royal Rumble and face Charlotte Flair, or maybe WWE had another way to get to the program. Either way we’ll have to see if that plan is still in the works when Banks makes her return.
