The Street Profits are back on RAW thanks to the WWE Draft. Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins are one of the companies most over tag teams and they made sure to keep them together much to the delight of fans everywhere.
However, there was some thought that the popular duo could be split up sooner rather than later. Ford and Dawkins recently spoke on things before the draft and noted they were alright with whatever outcome happened.
While it hasn’t happened yet it looks like there could be a big change coming in the future.
We’ve learned at The Ringside Roster that WWE has been very impressed with Ford over the last few months. Ford had a match with Roman Reigns a few weeks ago and put on a great performance that reportedly caught the attention of management. He’s also received praise for the way he carries himself as a star. Thus a big singles push is currently being considered for him.
The Street Profits hit the scene in NXT back in 2016 and since then there’s always been a lot of talk about how Montez Ford could possibly be a huge singles star one day. That day may come sooner than later now and when it does we’ll have to see exactly what that means for both Ford and Dawkins.
