Adam Cole is one of the top superstars in NXT and perhaps the whole WWE. The former Undisputed Era leader was believed to have signed a deal last year that would keep him with the company through January 2022, but apparently, someone made a big oversight.
We’ve learned at The Ringside Roster that his current deal is actually set to expire soon or may have already expired.
According to PW Insider, WWE executives were said to be shocked when they realized Cole’s contract situation. It was previously believed that they had him locked into a deal until January 2022.
Adam Cole is now in a position to negotiate a huge contract with WWE or possibly somewhere else, which could even see him show up in a company such as AEW, where his partner Britt Baker is the current AEW Women’s Champion.
