16-Time World Champion, Ric Flair is no longer with the WWE and becomes the latest casualty of the companies ongoing releases.
However, this situation is a bit different as we’ve learned at The Ringside Roster that Flair reportedly went to WWE and requested his release, he was then granted it.
According to Fightful Ric Flair became increasingly frustrated with WWE creative which led to him wanting to leave the company.
Flair most recently worked as the manager of Lacey Evans on WWE TV in a storyline where he was paired against his daughter Charlotte Flair.
Flair is now 72 years old, but we’ll have to see where he chooses to show up next. It’s not hard to envision the Nature Boy showing up in AEW to reunite with some old friends such as Arn Anderson, Dean Malenko, etc.
