Below are the AEW Dynamite results 7/28/21: 

  • The Elite defeat “Hangman” Adam Page & The Dark Order in a 5 on 5 elimination tag team match. 

  • In the middle of Pac’s interview, Chavo Guerrero  says that the Lucha Bros are having travel issues but thanks to Andrade they will be “arriving in style.” 

  • Ricky Starks celebrates his FTW World Title win. Starks talks about how Cage can never measure up to him. Brian Cage comes out to interrupt the party. Cage starts attacking the band members outside of the ring. When Cage tries attacking Starks, Starks runs away leaving a victorious Cage in the ring. 

  • Hiroshi Tanahashi says that he will be challenging the winner of tonight’s IWGP US title match and he will win the title. 

  • FTR defeats Santana & Ortiz. Cash holds his arm after the match and is seen to have suffered an injury to his arm. 

  • Britt Baker DMD talks about how Nyla Rose breaks b****es but Baker was able to beat her with a broken wrist. 

  • In an interview with Darby and Sting, Darby makes the announcement that he will be a part of AEW Rampage in Chicago, IL August 20. 

  • Lance Archer defeats Hikuleo. During the match, King Haku attacks Archer.

  •  During Cody’s interview, Malakai Black attacks Rhodes and the fight comes out to the ramp. Black and Cody Rhodes are scheduled for a match next week on Dynamite. Fuego Del Sol tries to come to Rhodes’ aid but Black knocks him out. Cody, Fuego Del Sol — “Welcome to the house of Black.” 

  • Miro talks about how he is going to beat Lee Johnson next week and retain his title. He continues to talk about how there are only 2 things that motivate him, “a vengeful God and his double-jointed wife.” 

  • The Jurassic Express and Christian Cage defeat Private Party and Angelico. During the match, Matt Hardy tries to interfere in the match, but Christian Cage makes him run away. After the match, The Blade attacks Christian Cage with brass knuckles leaving Cage unconscious outside the ring. Matt Hardy comes back out and congratulates The Blade for attacking Christian Cage. 

  • A vignette is shown of Nick Gage, he asks Jericho what he thinks he can do that he has not already been through.

  • Thunder Rose defeats Julia Hart. Before the match, Thunder Rose announces that she signed a multi-year contract with AEW and is a full-time AEW wrestler. She says that she is excited to saw them why she is able to do whatever she wants.

  • Moxley talks about how he has business in Japan and how Tanahashi has been dodging him for months. He talks about how he sent contracts to Japan and we shall see what comes back. He says that he is the forbidden door and calls Tanahashi out saying that he doesn’t want to see what Moxley will do to him.
