5-Year-Old Gets Tossed By Wrestler In Sickening Display

A Mexican wrestler was arrested after a sickening display where he tossed a 5-year-old boy to the ground.

Einar Cruz, whose ring name is ‘Einar El Vikingo’ (Einar The Viking), had just finished performing in an unofficial outdoor event in Venustiano Carranza in Mexico City, when the situation happened.
The shocking video of the incident (which is going viral) shows the 21 year old heel wrestler, sitting on the road having just lost the match, when a young boy named Mateo runs up and puts a headlock on Vikingo. The crowd then cheers in the street before things take a turn for the worst.

Vikingo became aggressive as he grabbed the young boy’s wrist, putting it into an armlock and causing Mateo to slam his face into the pavement. Vikingo then hurls the the 5-year-old boy across the road causing him to land on his face for a second time.
Vikingo is shown walking off and Mateo remains motionless in the the road. Mateo’s grandmother is said to have confronted the wrestler as he was walking off in which Vikingo responded to yelling at her back. Other members of boy’s family and the crowd go to confront him.

Cruz was arrested, but according to Attorney General of Justice of Mexico City Ernestina Godoy Ramos, officials had to be release him shortly afterward, because the boy’s injuries were considered minor and since the healing process lasted approximately 15 days according to a medical examiner, per Teledario — and not enough to charge him at the time.

El Vikingo has also been suspended indefinitely by the Mexico City Wrestling Commission, not for the attack on the 5-year-old boy, but for wrestling without a license in the unsanctioned event.

The family of Mateo says that’s he’s recovering and doing well, but of course they are understandably outraged. Mateo’s grandmother informs the press that Mateo no longer has any interest in pro wrestling after the attack and said he doesn’t want to hear about it again. Other wrestlers have attempted to make contact with the family in hopes to ensure that the world of pro-wrestling does not get spoiled for the young boy by this incident.

Other wrestlers have visited Mateo and expressed their outrage and express how “we cannot let these acts of violence happen and authorities need to get to work!”

Update: It was discovered that Vikingo was released from the company on Monday and his license to wrestle remains revoked.
