WWE NXT features the future stars of WWE and takes place every Wednesday night on the USA Network.
Since All Elite Wrestling hit the wrestling scene in 2019, which also takes place on Wednesday nights its been a ratings battle between the two that’s been dubbed the “Wednesday Night Wars”. According to a recent report it appears WWE may be looking to change things up and move WWE NXT to another night.
Perhaps what makes things even more interesting is that Spectrum Sports 360’s Jon Alba who has previously broken a lot of wrestling news stories retweeted and replied to the post.
The account claims that an announcement should be happening soon. We’ll have to see what happens. It would be a surprising move by WWE, but Vince McMahon isn’t a fan of losing to Tony Khan and AEW frequently so it may just be the case. For now take everything with a grain of salt..or maybe two.
